Nest WiFi is a router brand that belongs to Google LLC. It offers multiple smart home products including displays, speakers, routers, smoke detectors, etc. and also vends cameras, locks, and doorbells, etc. But, to access these devices and configure them, accessing the Nest login page is a must.

Step 2- Invoke the Default Web Browser and Navigate to 192.168.1.1

Next, you need to open the default browser and write the IP address into the address field. Afterward, hit the “Go” button from the appeared menu to proceed further.

The default IP address of the Nest router is 192.168.1.1. In case, if the IP address does not work, find the default IP address for the specific Nest router model you are using.

Step 3- Enter Login Credentials for the Nest Router

Once you are done with the previous instructions, enter the accurate login credentials to access your router. Then hit the Enter key and you will reach the Nest router setup page.

In case, you are not sure about the login credentials, locate the label for your router. The credentials are available in the printed form on this label, which you may find on the back of the Nest router.

Find the Reset Tab:

  • Now, press the Reset button for 30 seconds.
  • While pressing the reset button, try to remove the power supply from the router.
  • Keep pressing the button for another 30 seconds.
  • Turn on the power and continue to press the reset button for another 30 seconds.

Once you are done with all the above-cited steps, the router should boot up with its factory default. Now, by using the default settings, you will be able to access the Nest login page. 

If you are not aware of the default settings of the Nest router, then use the search function. It will help to locate the Nest router’s default configuration including the username and security key.

After performing the 30-30-30 hard reset process successfully if the Nest router still not working, the device might be damaged. Otherwise, the router driver may also be corrupted and resulting in login problems. Therefore, you need to replace the router with a new one or install the latest firmware updates.
